How do I create an account?
Visit the Clover sign up page to get started. All you need is an email address and a password.
How much does Clover cost?
Clover is free to start and there's no time limit. We also offer Pro accounts for those needing more blocks and capabilities. Visit the Clover pricing page for more details.
Is there student or educational pricing?
Yes, but this is currently a manual process. Please email support@cloverapp.com to request an educational discount.
How secure is my data? How are you storing my data?
Your data is secure. Clover uses Google Firebase to store all user data which is encrypted both at rest and in transit using HTTPS. For more information on how we store and secure your data please refer to the Google Firebase Privacy and Security page.
Am I being tracked?
We do not track any personally identifiable information. Additionally we do not sell or share user data with third parties.
We do track anonymous application usage data (such as feature usage) to help inform our product direction and roadmap. We also track application errors which may include user information such as page titles and user names.

Do you have team workspaces?
Team plans are in the works! If you are interested, please apply to beta test our Team plan. See Plans & Billing for more details.
What is a block?
A block is any piece of content on a Clover document. Some examples are a line of text, an image, a shape, or a todo item. Our free plan limits the number of blocks that you can create but our pro accounts allow for unlimited blocks. See Blocks for more details.
Can I change the email associated with my account?
At this time, we do not allow changing the email address on an account. However, this feature will be available in the future.
Can I export my data?
Currently, we offer the ability to export some Clover documents as Markdown documents. However, this is not available for Surface documents. You can also manually copy your selection as Markdown by pressing Ctrl⇧C
We are evaluating other export options at this time so if you have any feedback please email support@cloverapp.com.
Do you have a public roadmap?
We do not have a public roadmap at this time.
How can I get help or suggest features?

Do you support offline?
We have partial offline support, and full offline support is on our long-term roadmap. For the time being, you can work offline if you already have a document open when going offline. Any changes you make to the document while offline will be synced to the cloud once you reconnect.
